An exciting startup that is disrupting the disruption industry is trying to hire as many engineers as it can as fast as possible, to compensate for horrible engineering decisions made at an earlier stage.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact by treading water in premature legacy projects that are drowning in technical debt. You’ll be working directly with some mid-level manager who is themselves only starting to get a handle on just what the hell the team was thinking.

Since launching eighteen months ago, the company has reinvented a lot of wheels and spent millions of dollars on recreating barely thought-through versions of freely available off-the-shelf products.

By rapidly iterating and pivoting the product every few weeks, this startup has been able to create a range of unmanageable projects that cannot be supported by a reasonable sized team of engineers. The company is now looking to blow their last seed round on hiring ever more engineers to try and deal with the fallout of the previous engineers’ attempts to create a semblance of order.

The company is language agnostic as they have no idea what they’re running in production now, and are hoping that if they hire a large enough random sample of the market then someone might be able to figure it all out.

This hiring drive could be your chance to get in at an exciting growth stage and take the company to the next level of systematic failure and the unstoppable onslaught of the forces of chaos.
